Spiritual Music Mastery Workshop with Dr. Rickie Byars Beckwith, the Music and Arts Director at Agape International Spiritual Center, UPHI Music Director Tim McAfee-Lewis and the East Coast Regional New Thought Community Choir. Rickie's songs are performed weekly in churches and spiritual centers throughout the world. "Use Me" and "I Release and I Let Go" are classics that transcend denomination and have become foundational songs of praise meditation for countless churches and spiritual centers around the globe. She has performed in five sessions with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, at Green Festivals across North America and at countless Peace Concerts that promote unity and the principles of non-violence. In this powerful Spiritual Music Mastery Workshop, Dr. Beckwith will share wisdom and insight on the marriage between the message and the music while staying true to that small voice inside of you. $45 per registrant and includes the opportunity to perform LIVE with Dr. Rickie Byars Beckwith as the New Thought Community Choir in Saturday’s concert.

Dr. Rickie Byars Beckwith featuring the East Coast Regional New Thought Community Choir in concert! Dr. Beckwith is one of the 21st century's most revered singer-songwriters whose transcendent music opens the heart, touches the soul, and uplifts the spirit. Together with her husband, Rev. Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith, founder of the Agape International Spiritual Center, their powerful partnership has resulted in a dynamic catalog of original songs that enables transformational healing through the power of music.

Joining Rickie will be six special guest artists in a spine-tingling salute to Black Broadway!

Alyson Williams  is best known for her classic R & B hit "Just Call My Name" that was a #4 hit on the Billboard R&B charts. Alyson has also appeared on Broadway in “Rollin on the TOBA”, “One Mo Time” and the “25th Anniversary Revival of the Wiz”.

John Stanley  is currently Musical Director for music icon Patti Labelle and has performed around the world with her including a television performance for Elizabeth Taylor and Michael Jackson.

Fredi Walker-Browne  is possibly best known for creating the role of Joanne Jefferson in the smash hit musical "Rent". Fredi has been featured in the "Lion King", "Once On This Island" as well as "Little Shop Of Horrors", "The Buddy Holly Story" and "Ain't Misbehavin'".

Monique McDonald's  dynamic stage presence and stunning vocal gifts have established her as one of the most beloved sopranos of our time. On the concert platform, McDonald has appeared as soloist at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, Library of Congress, and New York Festival of Song.

Yolanda Wyns  performed in the Broadway production of "The Color Purple" and has appeared at the Apollo Theater, Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and Avery Fisher Hall in New York and in venues throughout Europe and Asia. Her 2002 gospel recording, “A Live Recording of Praise and Worship,” has received international acclaim.

Gayle Turner’s  Broadway debut was the role of Dorothy in "The Wiz" as the understudy to Stephanie Mills for three years. Gayle is a member of the Broadway Inspirational Voices Gospel Choir founded by Michael McElroy.

Founder’s Day Celebration with UPHI Interfaith Service hosted by Spiritual Director Xavier Eikerenkoetter and guest speaker Marianne Williamson, an internationally acclaimed spiritual author and lecturer with four #1 New York Times Best Sellers. Marianne has been a popular guest on television programs, such as Oprah, Larry King Live and Good Morning America. In 1989, she founded Project Angel Food, a meals-on-wheels program that serves homebound people with AIDS in the Los Angeles area.

Following the service will be a book signing by Marianne where you may purchase copies of her best selling books.
