In the collaborative spirit that has been a hallmark of El Sistema, close to 100 children ages 7 to 21 from WHIN Music Project, American Youth Orchestra, and Opportunity Music Project will perform as part of “¡The Concert III!”, UPCA’s annual celebration of the youth orchestra programs it supports. The second half of the show will feature several special guests, including Alí Bello and his Latin jazz sextet, saxophonist, singer and composer Jesse Scheinin, and the all-women collective LADAMA Project.
Alí Bello has become one of the most dazzling and sought after violinists across the music industry. He is known for his versatility among different music styles in addition to his well‐found classical training and multidimensional improvisational skills, which have made him a top violinist of the Latin jazz arena.
